A Tribute to Simon Johnson:

Trevor Whitwell (FS 66-72) writes regarding the late Simon Johnson.

“Simon was one of the nicest, well liked and gentle-mannered people I have ever known.

At his funeral service the full extent of his life, both professional and personal, was laid open for all to hear, and he certainly lived his life to the full, managing along the way to have many, many friends.

We did not keep in touch much until the South Reunion in 2015, when I also met his wife Nina and son Bradley; between them they organised the helicopter landing on the Wallside Rec.
Sadly, he has gone, and I send my most sincere condolences to Nina, Bradley and his sister Penny.”
